Mr Tig Mooney has over thirty years' teaching experience and over twenty years' experience as a Headmaster, both in independent day and boarding schools in the UK and in international schools in Malaysia and Singapore. Most recently he has been working as Principal of the Elementary School of St. Joseph's Institution International in Singapore.

After graduating from Trinity College, Dublin, where he read History and later gained his MA, Mr Tig Mooney began his teaching career in Ireland and then in Scotland, before moving South to England to take up his first headship in 1997. After a distinguished school leadership career in the UK, Mr Tig Mooney was appointed to his first international headship in 2011 as Founding Head of the Preparatory School of Marlborough College Malaysia.He is the father of three grown up children who went to British style boarding school.

Mr Tig Mooney is a passionate advocate of holistic education and the many benefits of a boarding-school education.

David Worley is extremely proud to be a founding member of staff at Wycombe Abbey School Hangzhou. These are very exciting times.
David has worked in China since 2018 and enjoys developing his understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture. Most of his teaching career has been in the UK, mainly in and around the London area. David is from a family of educators – both his parents and grandparents are retired teachers.
Outside of work, most of his time is spent trying to keep fit. He has recently taken-up boxing training as a hobby. Sport and exercise have always been an important part of his life. Football, tennis, golf, and badminton, are all games that David likes to play. As a Literature graduate, David's particular interest is in the arts and specifically Shakespeare – both to study/teach and to watch in the theatre.

Thomas Fyfe is delighted to working as the Executive Head of the Lower School at Wycombe Abbey School Hangzhou. He went to a boarding school in the UK from the age of 8, and he firmly believe that it was this experience that has made him the person he is today. Thomas is highly motivated to deliver that same experience to the pupils, where they can develop their skills and values through a huge range of activities and opportunities. He graduated with a Masters in Engineering from Exeter University before beginning his career in education as a Teacher of Physics at one of the most academic schools in the UK, The Haberdashers’ Aske’s Boys’ School. Then moved to Wycombe Abbey School Changzhou in January 2019, where he worked as a Housemaster, before moving to the Hangzhou campus to be the founding Head of Science and Head of Boarding. He has extensive experience working with international pupils, having worked at an international summer course, called Discovery Summer, at Radley College for many years.
Thomas is passionate about ensuring that every child can excel, find their purpose and discover those 21st century skills that they will need to lead and tackle the global issues of our modern world.
